I have had the privilege of serving the Central Florida community as a therapist in a variety of settings: children’s hospital, foster care, youth shelters, and clinical outpatient, to name a few. I also have experience with small group settings, where I provided direct social skills coaching for children and adolescents presenting with ASD, anxiety, and learning differences. I am very excited to start my next chapter in clinical work by joining the Kindred Counseling Team!

I enjoy working with clients of all ages starting at 7 years old. While I have years of experience working with diverse clients and challenges, I specialize in working with children and individuals with ADHD, ADD, twice exceptionalism and highly talented individuals, and mood disorders. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and have experience working with gender identity exploration and dysphoria.

Just a few of the modalities I use include cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, client-centered and solution-focused approaches to encourage clients to develop new coping skills to manage life transitions and adverse events. I am also an EMDR-trained therapist and provide trauma-informed care to children, adolescents, and adults. I possess the ability to connect and build positive therapeutic alliances with my clients through open communication, empathy, and self-empowerment to promote resiliency and future successes.

Putting on your oxygen mask before assisting others is an important part of the process. When I am not busy working with clients, I engage in self care through long-distance running, crafting, cooking, and snuggling with my two fur-babies (cats).
